This is a great opportunity for college students, freelancers, stay-at-home parents, active retirees, or anyone with a flexible schedule who lives in the 21401 or 21403 zip codes (Annapolis, MD).
Pay Range: Potential to earn the equivalent of $15 – $24+ per hour depending on assignment and availability.
What You'll Do:
- Provide overnight pet sitting in the pet owner’s home (typically 7 PM to 7 AM) or host pets in your own home for overnight care.
- Ensure pets are fed, watered, exercised, and given lots of love.
- Administer medications if needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and calming environment for pets.
- Send daily updates and photos to clients via our user-friendly app.
- Communicate with the Woofie’s team as needed for support or scheduling.
- Participate in occasional local events to represent Woofie’s in the Annapolis pet community (1x/month minimum).
Who You Are:
- A responsible, trustworthy, and pet-loving individual who lives in the 21401 and 21403 zip codes (Annapolis area).
- Available for overnight stays in clients’ homes or to host pets overnight in your own pet-safe home.
- Comfortable handling dogs and/or cats of varying sizes and temperaments.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Reliable with great communication skills.
- 18 years or older with the ability to pass a background check.
- Own a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and smartphone.
Bonus Points For:
- Prior experience in pet sitting or animal care (but not required—training is provided).
- Flexibility to take last-minute bookings or holiday stays.
- Customer service experience.
